1 Gross profit Margin = Gross profit / Net sales * 100
2 Operating income margin = Operating income / Net sales * 100
3 Net profit margin = Net profit / Net sales * 100
4 Return on Assets = Net profit / Average Total assets * 100
5 DuPont return on Assets = (Net profit / Net sales) * (Net sales / Total assets) * 100
6 Operating Assets turnover = Net sales / Average operating assets = Times
7 Return on operating Assets = Net profit / Operating assets * 100
8 Sales to fixed Assets = Net sales / Fixed assets = Times
9 Return on total equity = Net profit / Share holder's equity * 100
* Average = (Current + Previous)/2
** Operating Assets = (Property Plant and Equipment+Stock in trade+Cash and Bank balances
