Re: [ vuZs.net ] capital work in progress mean inventory

Capital Work In Progress, in simple words with example, you are constructing a building. A certain amount i.e. Rs. 100,000/- has been spent on that building and Balance Sheet date i.e. end of June has been arrived, but building is still incompleted and we can't show this as Building in our Balance Sheet, so we will show Rs. 100,000/- as Capital Work in Progress in Asset side of Balance Sheet. Hope your concept will be cleared right now.
