Yes dear u can write the Win7 on a DVD, the downloaded file is in DVD image format which can be written on CD or DVD by selecting image to DVD option and will convert the 1 image file to complete unpacked Windows 7 software.
-- Windows 7 software is abt 3-4 GB in size, use any CD/DVD writing software like Nero etc and choose the write / record option image to DVD. The written DVD will be a complete boot-able DVD of Windows 7.
