To my understanding based on following calculation you need minimum 3.4 to reach overall 2.3.
subject passed: 23 with 2.26 GPAso total will be 23x2.26 = 51.98Now add 3.4 from on subject which is left51.98 + 3.4 = 55.38
Now your net GPA will be 55.38/24 = 2.30Please check you number of subject passed above calculation apply only if you had 2.26 GPA with 23 passed subjects.
