vu experts - cs610 1st assignment

Has anyone tried tracert command. For www.yahoo.com; it is showing that to access Yahoo it passes through only 1 router. I used this command for some other websites as well but output still shows 1 router that came across while transferring information. Is that ok?

And which networking topology will suit for the given scenario?
